Gadsden Correctional Facility Summer Package Program
 
The items in this catalog have been approved by Gadsden Correctional Facility. Incarcerated individuals are not permitted to purchase packages for themselves or for other incarcerated individuals. There is a $15 product minimum per order, this minimum does not include shipping or sales tax. Any orders received under this $15 product minimum will be canceled and refunded to the customer. An incarcerated individual may only receive $150 product per program, the $150 limit does not include shipping or sales tax. Multiple packages can be ordered for an incarcerated individual, but the combined product total cannot exceed the $150 maximum dollar limit per incarcerated individual. The last order received that puts the total amount over $150 will be refunded to meet the limit, or totally refunded, to ensure that the $150 product limit per incarcerated individual is not exceeded.
 
Please be advised that orders should not exceed the property limitations established in 33-602.201, F.A.C. entitled Incarcerated individuals Property. PLEASE NOTE - Incarcerated individuals participating in the Department’s Religious Diet Program (RDP) are not authorized to receive non-kosher food items from the Gadsden Correctional Facility Package Program. Per regulations, incarcerated individuals participating in the RDP who are found in possession of a non-kosher food item may be required to return the item at the incarcerated individual’s expense.
 
All incarcerated individuals are eligible to receive a package except those classified as: AC/SOS, Close Management I, Close Management II, Close Management III, CM/SOS, CSU- Crisis Stabilization Unit, Disciplinary Confinement, DC/SOS, Isolation - Medical, CMHI Unit Beds, CHMI/Beds, Maximum Management, Reception/Orientation, Suicide Observation, TCU - Transitional Care Unit, CSU/TCI - Dual Usage
 
ORDERING PERIOD: Family & Friends orders accepted April 10- May 10, 2024. All orders must be received by Union Supply Direct by May 10, 2024. Orders received after this date will not be processed.
 
PRODUCT: Union Supply Direct attempts to show and describe merchandise and all related information as accurately as possible. However, Union Supply Direct does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of our catalog, order form or website is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. In addition, manufacturers may make changes in product design, color, package size and style at any time. Union Supply Direct reserves the right to update or correct item information and to change prices and offers at any time. If a product offered by Union Supply Direct is not as described, your remedy is as follows: (1) Immediately return it, unused, upon receipt while complying with your facility’s rules and regulations. (2) If an item is unavailable for any reason, we will obtain approval by Gadsden Correctional Facility to substitute an item of equal or greater value. We regret any of these changes and make every effort to ship the proper product that you request.
 
PAYMENT METHOD: Union Supply Direct accepts the following forms of payment: credit card, personal check or money order (must be domestic, printed in the U.S.) or cash payment through ACE Cash Express. We accept all major credit and debit cards with the following logos: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact card holder name, billing address, CVV code and telephone number that your credit card issuer bank has on file for you. Your credit card will be billed upon placement of your order.
 
SALES TAX: The Sales Tax Rate in this facility is 7.5%. Multiply total of taxable items by .075 for calculation. Sales Tax rates are subject to change at any time.
 
SHIPPING: All shipped orders will be charged $7.95 (Non-Refundable). Cancelled orders will not be charged.
 
DELIVERY: Per Gadsden Correctional Facility, all packages will be shipped shortly after the order taking period, to arrive at the facilities within the week of June 10th, 2024.
 
PACKAGE DISCREPANCIES: Used or abused items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. Please check all your items upon receipt. If any of these items are found to be missing, defective or damaged in shipping, please notify facility staff inventorying your package immediately. The employee will verify any discrepancy and report it to Union Supply Direct. Damaged or defective food and hygiene items will be refunded. Non-food items may be returned for a refund or replacement. If the original payment was made by credit or debit card, approved refunds will be credited back to the card used in the original purchase, including prepaid credit and debit cards.
 
Restocking Fee: If a package or item(s) is returned by you or your facility for any reason other than because the item(s) are damaged or the wrong item(s) were sent, a restocking fee of 10% will be deducted from your refund. Shipping Fees are non-refundable for refused packages.
